Ingredients
- Cabbage – 2 cup
- Dal – 1 cup
- Tomato – 1 sliced
- Small Onion – ½ cup
- Oil for fry
- Mustard – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coconut – ¼ cup
- Kasa kasa – 1 tsp
- Pepper – 1 tsp
- Green chilli - 2
Instruction:
1. Take a pressure cooker, add two cup of
cabbage, one cup of dal one sliced tomato, turmeric powder and cook with steam
for ten minutes
2. Take a fresh pan, put oil for fry, add
mustard, cumin seeds, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and small onion and
sauté well
3. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder,
coriander powder and salt to taste
4. Then add cooked cabbage and dal, then
cook for 10 minutes. Meanwhile prepare the coconut masala
5. Take a mixture jar, add coconut, pepper
seeds, green chilli and kasa kasa. Add water and grind well.
6. Add prepared coconut masala and cook for
ten minutes. Now the delicious cabbage kootu is ready to serve.
