Dhokla recipe | instant khaman dhokla | How to Make Soft and Spongy Dhokla recipe

Ingredients:
  • Rava / sooji – 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Asafetida / hing - 1 tsp
  • Sugar – 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Soda salt – 1
  • Curd – ½ cup
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Mustard – 1 tsp
  • Chana dal – 2 tsp
  • Green chilli -3
  • Curry leaves

Instructions:

1. Take a bowl for prepare dokla batter. Take one cup of rava, turmeric powder, asafetida, sugar, salt as per your taste, soda salt for ferment and half cup of curd.
2. Mix well and add half cup of water then leave two hour for fermentation.
3. After that take a pressure cooker and place the cake pan in that. Apply oil in cake pan and put fermented batter into it. Then cook for ten minutes.
4. Now take another pan for tempering. Add oil for fry, mustard, chana dal, green chilli and curry leaves then saute well.
5. Now add this tempering into cooked dokla. Now the delicious dokla recipe is ready to serve.
