Ingredients:
- Oil for fry
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Ginger – 1 tsp
- Garlic – 1 tsp
- Green chilli – 2
- Onion – 2 tbsp
- Curry leaves
- Tomato – 2 sliced
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Palak leaves – 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Cowpeas/ karamani – 1 cup
(cooked)
- Potato – 3 boiled
Instructions:
- Take a pan and heat it, put oil for fry.
- Add cumin seeds, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilli, chopped
onion and curry leaves. Then sauté well until onion get brownish.
- Then add tomato, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander
powder, salt to taste and one cup of palak leaves. Then add water and cook
for five minutes.
- Then add one cup of cooked cowpeas/ karamani and cook for five
minutes. Now the time for add cooked potato. Cook three minutes for medium
flame.
- Sprinkle coriander leaves and if you want add some fried vadakam
too. Now the delicious aloo palak rajama gravy is ready to serve.
