Ingredients:
- rava / sooji - 3 cup
- oil - fry fy
- mustard - 1/2 tbsp
- urad dal - 1 tbsp
- curry leaves - few
- ginger - 1/2 tbsp
- groundnut / peanut - 2 tbsp
- onion - 1 cup chopped
- green chilli - 2 nos
- coriander leaves
- tomato - 2 chopped
- beans - 1 cup
- carrot - 1/2 cup
- turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
- salt to taste
- ghee - 1 tbsp
- water
Instruction
1. first take a pan and pour oil as required to fry the ingredients.
2. put mustard, urad dal and curry leaves then allow to fry
3. after that add ginger (chopped), peanut and onion then fry well until the onion turns brown
4. then add green chilli as per your family's spicy nature and coriander leaves
5. also add tomato, beans and carrot and srie well
6. then add turmeric powder for color and fragrance, salt to taste
7. allow this stuff to cook for two minutes in steam
8. after two minutes add ghee and water then cook for two minutes for boil of water and ingredients
9. after that add three cup of soji/ rava and stir well because it forms lumbs easily
10. again allow to cook two to three minutes. after soji get thicker trurn off the flame.
11. now the tasty tomato upma is ready to serve.
note: If you want to add any other vegetable, you can use but keep in mind hard vegetables not cook easily..
