brinjal and tomato bajji | eggplant bajji for dosa | south Indian style

Ingredients:

  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • Mustard – 1 tsp
  • Chana dal – 1 tsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tsp
  • Garlic – 1 tbsp
  • Onion – 2 nos (shredded)
  • Curry leaves
  • Masala powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Tomato – 3 nos
  • Brinjal / Eggplant – 4 nos
  • Salt – tsp

Instruction:

1. Take a kadai and put oil 2 tsp. add mustard 1 tsp


2. Add chana dal, urad dal and fry well until brownish


3. Add garlic and onion then fry well until brownish. Then add some curry leaves.

4. After fry all ingredients add masala powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder then mix well


5. After that add tomato shredded tomato and brinjal and mix well then cook for three minutes



6. Then add salt to taste and add water 150ml. then cook for 5 minutes in steam.





7. After drain the water mesh the bajji and serve with dosa.
