Ingredients
- Mango – 5 nos
- Salt – 5 tsp
- Oil – required for fry
- Mustard – 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves – few
- Red chilli powder – 10 tsp
- Asafoetida powder – 1 tsp
Instruction
1. Take five mango and cut into small pieces (required size)
2. Put salt and
mix well, then leave it for four to five hours for dissolve the salt to mango.
3. Take a kadai or pan and put oil for fry the mango
4. After heating of oil put 1/2 tsp mustard and few curry leaves
5. After fry
the curry leaves add mango pieces in to it.
6. Allow to
cook ten minutes in steam.
7. After ten
minutes of cooking add red chilli powder (as required) and small quantity of asafoetida powder and mix well
8. Allow to
cook five minutes, when the oil separate and comes to top of the pan then turnoff the
flame.
9. Now the
spicy mango pickle is ready. Serve with all meals as a side dish.
Note: please note that usage of packed red chilli powder is harmful to health, better you can buy red chilli and grind well in home itself. and use required quantity of chilli powder as per your food-style.
