INGREDIENTS | |

Rice – 1 cup 
Oil – for fry 
Garlic – 2 cloves 
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp 
Green chilli - 2 
Green peas – 1 cup 
Fenugreek/ Methi
  leaves – 1.5 cup 
Garam masala – 1 tsp 
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp 
Salt to taste  | |

INSTRUCTIONS | |
| 
1. Wash and soak
  rice for about 20 minutes. Cook rice to grainy and cook completely.   
2. Sauté dry spices
  and garlic in hot oil 
3. Sauté meathi
  leaves and green peas for 3 to 4 minutes. 
4. Add masala
  powder, turmeric powder and mix well. 
5. Turn off the
  flame. Add cooked rice and salt to the pan. Mix everything well. If you want
  you can add lemon juice 
6. Serve methi rice
  with raita or vegetable salad. | |
