milk payasam recipe | how to make paal payasam | paal payasam in tamil

        milk payasam recipe or poga kheer is the dessert recipe commonly make in all types of function and most favorite for all age people especially children. it is easily to cook with simple ingredients. milk and rice is the main ingredients so it is very healthiest dessert. in my hometown it called as paal payasam. we can found in all marriage function. here we explain the detailed instruction about the cooking method. watch the video for live demo.

Ingredients 

  • milk - 1 cup
  • rice  - 1/4 cup  
  • ghee - 1 tbsp
  • sugar - 3/4 cup
  • cardamom powder - 2 tsp
  • cashew nut- roasted
  • dry graps - roasted

Procedure

      1. take a hot pan and put ghee or oil in it.
     2. after heat the ghee put rice and roast well until semi cook (it became brownish)
     3. after that add one cup of milk and cook for 30 minutes in light flame and allow to cook rice.
     4. after rice cooked add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
     5. after cook all the ingredients add roasted cashew nut and dry graps
     6. turn off the flame and serve in warm.


Note: If you want to milk payasam for any other color add some coloring agents.
